We have educated thousands of children since first opening in 1964 as Yucca Court Day Care Center. Both Yucca Court and Ms. Carolyn's were founded by Mrs. Freda Sanders, the mother of five children, grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of three. Mrs. Sanders later turned the management of Ms. Carolyn's over to her youngest daughter, Carolyn Usategui who has three children and three grandchildren of her own. Carolyn has worked in the childcare industry since 1983.
